Grown from the desert and carried by the sea across worlds, we are born from the roots of our Adivasi, Dalit, and nomadic Indigenous motherline. At our heart, we are proudly Indigenous-owned — a small family business with big dreams. We stand against fast fashion, returning livelihood, leadership, and empowerment to those most marginalised, in our homelands and across the global retail world. Here you’ll find handmade clothing, beadwork, jewellery, blankets, bags, and art — one-of-a-kind pieces made with love and in-tune with MA earth. Each creation remembers, repurposes, and reimagines: honouring ancestral craft, transforming forgotten textiles, and weaving brighter futures for generations to come. Our Pop-up Shop by the sea on Kabi Kabi land opens 04.10.25

At MASAPERĀ, we honour the sacred lands we walk upon — lands that have always been cared for by Indigenous Peoples. From India’s Adivasi and Dalit communities, including the Kalbeliya Sapera, to the Aboriginal Peoples of Australia, Native Nations of the Americas, and Indigenous communities across the world, we recognise their resilience, traditions, and deep connection to earth and spirit.
As part of India’s Indigenous and nomadic peoples, the Kalbeliya Sapera have endured centuries of oppression under caste, colonialism, and displacement — struggles mirrored by Indigenous communities globally. MASAPERĀ stands in solidarity with them, advocating for justice, recognition, and the protection of culture and rights.
We carry forward the wisdom of Indigenous Peoples: living in balance with nature, memory, and spirit. With every creation, we commit to amplifying their voices, healing generational wounds, and dismantling systems of exclusion. May our work honour the past, empower the present, and weave brighter futures for generations to come.
